I`m in Incheon airport right now, getting on a plane to Tokyo.

All the flights to Europe are cancelled and as the ash cloud continues to expand, more and more locations in Europe are being closed off (South Spain, Turkey, Greece.)

It's a disaster of major proportions, as people are stranded in airports all over the world waiting for news on when the flights will be resumed. JFK in New York looks like a refugee camp and a friend stuck in Indira Gandhi in New Delhi told me local airport authorities refuse to allow entry to Europeans seeking refuge from Kathmandu and Karachi because they don't hold valid visas for India.

Hopefully flights will resume soon, it seems things are difficult even for people stuck in Europe. THe prices for car rentals hiked to 3,000+ euros per car as operators face an ever increased demand. Major disruptions will take place at exhibitions too, with people not being able to fly out or in Europe. Even things return to normal temporarily there is no guarantee eruptions will not continue in the near future, bringing even more uncertainty and insecurity.
