Its cash, not ash...or can fast you say "Eyjafjallajökull"???
4,000 people stranded in Frankfurt and Skhiphol airports,
passengers stranded
airspace shut down all over North Europe, passengers desperately trying to book trains, ferries and long haul taxis to get to their homes...and all i can think of is, will i ever be able to get to the European Seafood Exhibition next week in Brussels? And moreover, even if i get there, how on Earth will i ever get back to Japan? looking forward to the challenge.
eruption
Everybody would hope that they could only see cash flooding out of Iceland following the collapse of their banking system. Seemingly its a kind of revenge for Britain’s use of strong armed tactics to extract compensation over the Icesave collapse - this is how we ended up with ash. A lot of it. (Since letter "c" does not exist in the Icelandic alphabet, it`s easy to see how the people over there got all confused about it.)
ash
And for those of us hoping the ashes will clear up soon, there is bad news: last time this volcano erupted was in 1821, and it lasted for 2 years....the bright part being that we will see a lot of fantastic sunsets from now one
red sunset
