Dubai Tower

Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest man made structure ever made, at 828m. It is named after after UAE President Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan and its imposing allure is overseeing the commercial downtown area of Dubai. Although it looks completed outside, the works inside still continue at a frantic rhythm.

I had the chance to have a look at the building from close, its a beautiful piece of art covered in glass and washed up in lights during the night. I dont even know which one looks nicer, this or the 7star hotel Burj Al Arab (or Arab Tower), on the other part of the town, on the beach?

I just wish the elevator worked when i wanted to visit, the steel cables unexpectedly cut off the previous day...scary proposition, having to take the stairs from the 100th floor. This is as scary as the sale price of a square meter of property in the tower, 43,000 usd or. 4 mil. jpy.
